Our school began in 1880 with the pastor teaching students a few months of the year in a rented space. By God's grace, our school has grown to now provide a Christian elementary education to children from three years old through eighth grade. Having served families in our area for over 140 years, our mission remains the same:
To teach students about their Savior while giving them an excellent and thorough elementary education.
We strive to provide excellent Christian education at St. Paul's Lutheran School.
Excellent, as teachers provide students with the foundational knowledge and skills for a lifetime of learning and experiences.
Christian, as teachers help students to see the love of God for them in Jesus and how God's love has meaning in every part of their lives.

On behalf of the students, parents, staff, and faculty of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran School, I extend to you a warm and sincere welcome to our school and congregation. I thank you for taking time to visit our page and possibly considering St. Paul’s as your school.
I believe it is important to establish a sense of community and family within the faculty and staff, wherein we can work together with parents to strengthen and nurture the faith of our students as well as to develop their academic growth. It is my goal as principal to see that every student grows in faith and that an environment of excellence is created where everyone, including principal, pastors, faculty, staff, parents, and students, work together to achieve their full potential.
We are extremely proud of our students and all the gifts that our Lord has given them. We see those blessings used on a daily basis, and we give God all the glory for all He has bestowed upon us.
St. Paul’s Lutheran School prides itself on academic excellence and service within Wonewoc and the surrounding communities. Our dedicated faculty and staff, along with our exceptional student body, make our school a wonderful and exciting place to grow both in knowledge and in faith.
